We are seeking a dynamic VP of Sales to spearhead our sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and establish [cafeteria] as a market leader.

about the role

The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets, build strong relationships with key clients, and ultimately build a high-performing sales team. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the market research or SaaS industry.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and close deals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all aspects of our team to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

core requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the market research or SaaS industry is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
    • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

pay range

USD $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 /Yr. Additional opportunities for sales performance bonus and options for equity.

We are NYC-based, currently operating remote. We have a strong preference for candidates in or near NYC, with the ability to meet in person periodically. Remote candidates will be considered, but the ability to operate in ET and collaborate in real time is a must.
